🌸 The Story Behind the Glass Garden Collection

🌸 The Story Behind the Glass Garden Collection

When I came home from Konnexion Music Festival this summer, my mind was buzzing with color, light, and inspiration. The experience itself was unforgettable - the people we met, the landscapes, the wild mix of creativity everywhere. It left me wanting to bottle up that energy and bring it into my work with House Plant Clubbin. That’s where the Glass Garden Collection began.

🌿 Why Glass Garden?

I’ve always had a quiet obsession with stained glass - the way sunlight pours through it, bending colors into little fragments of magic. It’s something I hope to incorporate into my work more deeply as I grow as an artist. For now, the Glass Garden Collection is my way of experimenting with that fascination. Every piece was designed with one big question in mind: how will this look in the sunlight? I’m kind of a lizard like that - I crave sunshine. I wanted beads and wire that would shimmer, glimmer, and scatter prisms when the light hit them.

🌻 Inspiration All Around

We released Glass Garden in July, right in the height of summer here in Corpus Christi. Sunflowers were blooming everywhere - bold, golden, and stretching toward the sun. I had always wanted to shoot among them since moving here, but I never did… until this collection. The flowers became the perfect backdrop, echoing the bright and joyful colors of these glass bead designs.

✨ The Materials & Proces

For now, I’m sourcing glass beads from different suppliers online, but it’s only the beginning. One of my dreams is to collaborate with a glass blower so we can create custom beads together - true little works of art in themselves.

Each necklace and wrap in this collection was designed to feel light and playful but also timeless - jewelry that can decorate both your plants and yourself. The colors are bright, layered, and alive, just like a stained glass window when the sun pours through it.

🌞 Why I Love It

The magic of Glass Garden is how it transforms with the light. Indoors, it’s vibrant and colorful. Step outside, and suddenly the beads sparkle, bounce little rainbows, and shift with every movement. That’s exactly what I hoped for, pieces that feel alive, pieces that love the sun as much as I do.
