Some of my earliest and most treasured memories are of my grandparents' backyard in Idaho. Watching them tend to their plants, their patio, their little corner of the world, I did not know it then, but those moments were quietly planting something in me too.

Plants became a passion through childhood, then an obsession by college. So did jewelry. I have always been drawn to things that are beautiful and alive, things with texture and meaning. Around the same time, I fell headfirst into music festivals and the world of house music, and honestly? It pulled me through some of the darkest seasons of my life in ways I will never be able to fully explain.

In college I started an Instagram called @houseplantclubbin just to share my plant pictures. Then life got busy and I walked away from it. But the seed was already planted.

The Plants Always Came With Me
After graduating from Boise State, I packed up and started moving. California, Florida, Texas. Every single time, my plants came with me. No matter where life took me, they were always loaded into the car and carried to the next chapter. They were home wherever I went.

It was in Florida where I met Byron, my husband, in Pensacola. We fell in love and eventually made our way to Corpus Christi, Texas together, where we have now built our life for the past five years. We love it here in a way that genuinely surprised us. This city has become ours.

The Wedding That Started Everything
Then came our wedding, and with it, one of the most unexpected sparks of all. After the ceremony I could not bring myself to let the flowers just wilt and disappear. They were too beautiful, too meaningful, too tied to one of the best days of my life. So I started researching how to preserve them, how to make something lasting and sentimental out of something that was never meant to last.

That curiosity cracked open a whole world for me. Preserving blooms became a craft, then a passion, and even
tually the very foundation of what House Plant Clubbin creates today.

House Plant Clubbin Is Born
In 2024 something clicked. I came back to that little account with a new vision: what if I combined everything I loved? Plants. Jewelry. Community. Art. That revival became House Plant Clubbin, and what started as a creative outlet has grown into something I could have never imagined.
Every piece I make is one of a kind. I preserve flowers and botanicals from my own plants, then encase them by hand petal by petal in resin to create wearable art. No two pieces are ever the same because nature does not repeat herself, and neither do I.

I Invented Something Nobody Had Made Before
I also invented Plant Wraps, functional plant jewelry designed to support your plants in style. Instead of reaching for a boring piece of string or a twist tie, you use something handmade and beautiful. They are crafted from stainless steel wire, glass seed beads, and hand selected charms, and they actually work. A utility patent is currently pending.

Building Something Bigger
HPC has traveled across the country, back to our roots at a music festival, and we are heading to Chicago for our second PlantCon, the largest plant convention in the United States. Locally in Corpus Christi we are building something really special too, a monthly community market called Plant Party, bringing together local artists, small businesses, and plant lovers for a real celebration.

But this brand has always been about more than jewelry or houseplants. It is about community, living a lifestyle you are genuinely proud of, and giving back.
Our Dogs, Our Heart, Our Why
Byron and I are obsessed with dogs. We have four of our own and honestly, our dogs are what got me through some of the hardest moments of our lives. Byron is a disabled veteran who underwent three back surgeries at just 25 years old, injuries that came from his time in flight training with the Marine Corps. Our pups were my constant comfort through all of it.

That deep love for animals is what led us to partner with Southside Animal Hospital and donate 10% of every HPC sale to Eli's Fund, a nonprofit founded by veterinarian Dr. Mike Moore that provides emergency veterinary care to service animals owned by veterans. This one is personal for us in every way.

Welcome to the Club
House Plant Clubbin started with a seed. A little Instagram account, a grandmother's garden, many music festivals, a wedding bouquet I refused to let die, a late night idea. It grew because I never stopped tending to it. And it keeps growing because of every single person who has become part of this community.

We are so glad you are here. Now come join the club.
